Using Your Bimble.
Your
Bimble size 0 is designed to be a trim easy to use nappy for newborn to
approximately 18lb. It can be held snugly in place by a trim fitting wrap
(usually described as suitable for prefolds) such as Motherease Rikki, Popolini
Popo, Bumpy or Prowrap. Alternatively you can use any wrap if used with a Nappi
Nippa. To attach
the Nippa, hook one end over baby’s hip gripping the fabric with the hook,
then stretch the other end over towards the other hip, doing the same. Stretch
the lower hook down, until the Nippa shape is a ‘Y’, not a ‘T’. You can
add extra absorbency in the pouch – we offer an economical slimline booster
for this. Once the
wrap is on, check around waist and legs to ensure there is no part of the nappy
protruding to cause wicking. The
Bimble sizes 1 & 2 work in the same way but may not fit in all stuffable
nappies as below. Your Bimble size 0 on a
larger baby
Once it
no longer fits your Bimble can be used as an insert for the Easy Peasy Bumble to
give a super absorbent nappy, ideal for nights or heavy wetters. It can also be
used as an insert for pouched nappies such as Fuzzi Bunz, or as a fleece topped
booster for any nappy you buy. Using Your Bumble or Harmony
You can
use your Nippa birth to potty nappy by unpoppering and removing the booster and
tucking the front inside the nappy & fastening booster flap on inner poppers
to reduce the rise. Popper or fasten with a Nappi Nippa as explained above. As
your baby grows you can open out nappy to its full rise and simply popper in the
booster and tuck it inside the nappy. The booster can be folded to provide
absorbency where needed. For extra absorbency you can either stuff it with a
Bimble 0 or purchase an additional booster from Easy Peasy Nappies. Boosters
from other nappy systems can also be used. As with
the Bimble it can be used with any wrap. We do however recommend you fasten with
a nippa for maximum effectiveness. Caring for your Easy Peasy NappiesWash at
60’, tumble or line dry. If you
soak, we recommend 5 drops of tea tree or lavender oil in the bucket (after
ensuring your baby doesn’t have an allergy to these products). If you don’t
soak, you may wish to run the prewash cycle on your washing machine.
Using non-bio washing powder, half quantity is usually sufficient to wash
nappies. A splash of white vinegar in the fabric conditioner drawer will help
rinse out any soap residues and avoid any allergic reaction to washing powder.
If residues still remain, an extra rinse will help. Any
stains can be removed by sunlight or, with white nappies, a spray of Shout can
help. We do not recommend soaking in bleach products. Help
